Standard mirrors do not fit here. So we cut a mirror exactly to this slope. #madetomeasure

Why it usually gets left undone.

Glass is hard to photograph

Reflections, light, fingerprints: a good photo of glass needs a quiet moment. Everyday work rarely allows for one.

Many only know the emergency

Most people call the glazier when a pane is broken. They do not know that you also make showers, balustrades and kitchen splashbacks.

Precision work that nobody sees

Glass has to fit to the millimetre. Without an explanation, hardly anyone notices how much planning is behind it.

Where the topics come from.

From the bathroom

Frameless glass showers, made-to-measure mirrors, illuminated mirrors. With photos of the finished installation.

From the living space

All-glass doors, glass balustrades, kitchen splashbacks, display cabinets. Glass as a design element, not just as a window.

From the workshop and repairs

Replacing a pane, misted double glazing, picture framing, cutting glass to size. Everyday jobs that lots of people need.

Window misted up between the panes

Double glazing that has misted up on the inside between the panes. A common problem that many people cannot place.

    Example
Is your window misting up between the two panes? Then the sealed unit is leaking and cleaning will not help. We replace just the glass, the frame can often stay.
  2. 02

    The glass kitchen splashback

A kitchen with a coloured glass splashback. An easy-care alternative to tiles.

    Example
No grout lines, just wipe it clean: a glass splashback is really practical in the kitchen. We match the colour to the cabinet fronts. #kitchen

The glass balustrade on the stairs

A staircase with a glass balustrade that makes the room feel open. Shows modern work.

    Example
Safe, but barely visible. The glass balustrade lets the light through and makes the staircase the centrepiece of the room.

FAQ.

My photos of glass have strong reflections. Can Pipeflow still make good posts?

Pipeflow uses the photos you have and can also create text tiles in your colours. If an image does not fit, you swap in another one before approval.

Can Pipeflow post something straight away in an emergency such as broken glass?

You can edit a post and publish it straight away at any time. But you answer enquiries and messages yourself, Pipeflow does not reply to comments.
