Wedding cake before deliveryPipeflow Patisserie

One last photo before it heads off to the wedding: three tiers, fresh flowers and a lot of patience. We wish the couple a wonderful day. 🤍

Why it usually gets left undone.

Works of art nobody sees

A wedding cake is eaten within a few hours. If nobody photographs and shares it, only the wedding guests ever see it.

Orders need lead time

People who want to order a cake look for examples. Without pictures, enquiries go elsewhere.

Busy seasons, no time

Before Christmas, Easter and Mother's Day you have the most to do and the least time for posts.

Where the topics come from.

From your cake workshop

Wedding cakes, birthday cakes, novelty cakes, slices in the counter and working with cream and icing.

From your confectionery

Chocolates, petits fours, macarons and gift boxes for special occasions.

Through the year

Easter lambs, Mother's Day cakes, Christmas biscuits, gingerbread and pre-orders for every holiday.

Three ideas for patisseries.

    How a glaze is made

A close-up of chocolate glaze running over a cake. Craft that fascinates.

    Example
The most exciting moment in the workshop: when the glaze runs over the cake, everything has to be just right. The whole team holds its breath for a moment.

    Handmade chocolates

Show a row of freshly filled chocolates on the tray. It shows fine work and makes a good gift idea.

    Example
Every chocolate here is filled and decorated by hand. Small pieces, a lot of work, and that's exactly why they taste the way they do.

How far ahead should you order?

A text tile saying how much lead time you need for novelty or wedding cakes. It saves a lot of enquiries.

    Example
How much lead time we need depends on the cake. For birthdays a few days are often enough, for wedding cakes it's best to talk months ahead. That leaves time for tasting and planning.
