What Canva is.

According to its own description, Canva is a design tool with many templates, for graphics, presentations, flyers and social media posts. You pick a template, add text and images and adjust colours and fonts.

You can design almost anything with it. But the question of what to post this week is still yours to answer.

When Canva is the better fit.

Free design

If you want to design flyers, posters or single graphics yourself in detail.

You enjoy designing

If you like designing and have the time for it.

When Pipeflow is the better fit.

Every week without effort

If you do not want to find topics and build graphics every week.

In your colours

Pipeflow takes colours and photos from your website, without you maintaining templates.

A week compared.

With Canva

Think of a topic, find a template, write the text, add an image, save and post or schedule. For every single post.

With Pipeflow

The week's posts are ready, in your colours. You read through, change what does not fit and approve.

The difference

Canva makes designing easier. Pipeflow takes the work off your hands that comes back every week.

How to decide.

Three questions, answered honestly.

Do you need more than posts?

Flyers, menus, posters, business cards: that is what Canva is made for. Pipeflow only makes posts for Instagram and LinkedIn.

How precisely do you want to design?

If you want to set every detail yourself, Canva serves you better. With Pipeflow the design comes from your website, and you swap the image when needed.

Does it get left undone in daily work?

Designing is fun as long as there is time. If posts still keep getting left undone, the template is rarely the reason.

Questions about the comparison.

Can I use Canva and Pipeflow together?

Yes. Pipeflow handles your regular Instagram and LinkedIn posts, and you can keep using Canva for everything else.

Can I use my Canva graphics in Pipeflow?

Yes. You can add your own image to any post. A graphic you designed and saved in Canva, you simply upload there.

Does Pipeflow design flyers too?

No. Pipeflow only creates posts for Instagram and LinkedIn: an image with headline and name, plus the text.

Do I need a logo or defined brand colours?

No. Pipeflow takes the colours from your website. If you have no website, a few sentences about your business are enough.

What do the text tiles look like?

Simple: your colours, a short message, your name. They suit opening hours, tips and notices where a photo adds nothing.

Can I change image and text before posting?

Yes. For every post you can add your own photo, edit the text or have it rewritten before you approve.

Can I try Pipeflow for free?

Yes. Pipeflow is in its pilot phase, you can try it for free.

Which channels does Pipeflow support?

Instagram and LinkedIn. Facebook, X and YouTube are coming soon.

As of October 2026. The information on other tools describes their general purpose and may change.
