Your salon, in the feed every week.
Pipeflow reads your hair salon's website and plans posts with cuts, colours and your team every week, which you approve before they go out.
Last updated:
Every colour is mixed fresh here, matched to your hair. With us, no shade goes straight from the tube onto your head.
Example of a text tileWhy it usually gets left undone.
The scissors come first
Between clients there's just enough time for a coffee. Nobody writes the perfect Instagram text in that gap.
Photos yes, posts no
There are dozens of lovely hairstyles on your phone. They just never make it into the feed, because the text is missing.
Empty gaps in the diary
Saturday is full, Tuesday morning isn't. Without a heads-up, nobody knows there are still appointments.
Where the topics come from.
From the chair
Cuts, colours, balayage, updos: with the client's consent, happily as before-and-after too.
From the salon
The workstation in the morning, the colour kitchen, new products on the shelf, music and coffee.
From the team
Who specialises in curls, who does wedding hair, who has just finished their apprenticeship.
An example week.
How Pipeflow could plan a week for you.
Monday: The cut from behind
A photo of the back of the head with a clean neckline or soft layers, taken with consent. The client hardly ever sees the back view herself, and it is exactly what shows how precise the work was.
Wednesday: Styling tools explained
A photo of a round brush, straighteners or a curling tong at the workstation, with one sentence on which tool suits which hair. It helps with styling at home and shows your experience.
Friday: A look for the ball
During the ball season between January and carnival, a photo of an updo works well, with a note on how early to book for it. At other times of year it becomes the style for a confirmation, school leaving ceremony or a wedding as a guest.
Three ideas for hairdressers.
- 01
Free appointment this week
Post short-notice free slots, ideally with the time.
Example A slot has just come free tomorrow morning. First come, first served, give us a call.
- 02
Hair care tip for home
A general tip, for example on blow-drying or combing wet hair.
Example Wet hair is delicate, so it's better to comb it from the bottom up with a wide-toothed comb. Your ends will thank you.
- 03
Meet the team
One hairdresser per post, with their speciality.
Example This is one of our stylists, and curls are her great love. If you struggle with your curls, ask for her.
Tips for hairdressers.
Record consent
Ask before taking the photo whether the client agrees, and make a quick note in her record or have her sign. Anyone who doesn't want their face shown gets a picture from behind or from the side.
A fixed photo spot
Pick a spot in the salon with daylight and a plain background and always take photos there. Colour results then look true and your feed looks consistent, even when several people in the team take pictures.
Hair colour without filters
Filters quickly distort hair colour, and the next client then wants exactly the shade that doesn't really exist. Post colour results without heavy filters and preferably in daylight.
Show the everyday too
Not every post needs a big transformation. A neat men's cut or a freshly trimmed fringe shows that people are welcome for small appointments too.
How Pipeflow helps.
From your website
Pipeflow reads what you offer and plans posts from it. No website? A few sentences about your business are enough.
With images
Photos from your website, your own photos, AI images or text tiles in your colours.
You approve
Nothing goes out until you approve it. You can edit, ask for a rewrite or pause at any time.
FAQ.
Do I need a new photo for every post?
No. Pipeflow uses photos from your website, your uploads, AI images or text tiles in your salon colours. For photos showing people, Pipeflow asks for consent.
Can I change posts at short notice?
Yes. You edit, have it rewritten, add your own photo, post straight away or pause. Nothing goes out before you approve it.
Does Pipeflow reply to appointment requests in messages?
No. Pipeflow only plans and publishes posts. You still answer messages and comments yourself.
Should I name the product brands I work with?
You can show products you genuinely use and sell. If a brand gives you something in return, the post has to be recognisable as advertising. Rather explain why you use a product than praise it.
Does every stylist in the team need their own profile?
It can make sense if someone specialises strongly in something like curls or bridal hair. For most salons one shared profile is enough, with each stylist named in it. That way clients stay with the salon even if someone in the team moves on.
Does Instagram really bring new clients or just likes?
To be honest, nobody can promise that in advance. A well kept profile mainly helps people who have already found you and want to see how you work before their first appointment. Showing what you can do on a regular basis makes that step easier.
