Pipeflow

Seen from above, done well.

Every week Pipeflow uses your website to plan posts about roofs, renovation and maintenance for Instagram and LinkedIn, and you approve them.

Under the old tilesPipeflow Roofing

This is what we found under the old tiles: rotten battens and hardly any insulation. Good thing everything is being redone now.

Example of a text tile

Why it usually gets left undone.

The work is high up

Hardly anyone sees up close what happens on a roof. Photos and explanations make your work tangible.

The weather decides the day

When conditions are right, every hour on the roof counts. Then there is definitely no time left for posts.

Customers only come when there is damage

After a storm demand is high, but before that hardly anyone thinks about the roof. Regular reminders to check it change that.

Where the topics come from.

From roof renovations

Old tiles off, insulation in, new roof covering on. Step by step, with photos from the site.

From maintenance

Checks after winter, slipped tiles, moss on the roof, sealing roof windows. Tips that prevent damage.

From safety

Fall protection, scaffolding, working in the wind. Shows how seriously you take protecting your team.

An example week.

How Pipeflow could plan a week for you.

Monday: The gutter in autumn

A photo of a gutter full of leaves next to a freshly cleared one. Seasonal, instantly understandable and a good reminder of maintenance that many people forget.

Wednesday: The detail at the chimney

A close up of the metal flashing around the chimney. It is at joints like these that a roof stays watertight or not, and that shows your skill better than any overall view.

Friday: The crew after the last tile

A group photo of the crew in front of the finished house, with consent. A Friday suits a post that celebrates finishing a job and shows the people behind it.

  1. 01

    Checking after winter

A close-up of a slipped tile or a damaged ridge tile. A reminder to check in spring.

    Example
Snow, frost and storms take their toll on every roof. A quick look in spring shows whether anything has slipped before water gets in. #roofcheck
  2. 02

    Moss on the roof

A mossy roof with a short assessment of when it becomes a problem. A common question from homeowners.

    Example
A little moss is no drama. But if it gets thick and holds moisture, it should be removed professionally, not with a pressure washer.
  3. 03

    The new roof window

A roof window from inside and outside after fitting. Shows more light in the loft.

    Example
A dark loft becomes a bright room. When fitting a roof window, what matters most is watertight connections. ☀️

Tips for roofers.

Photos only when secured

No picture is worth a fall. Only take photos on the roof when you are secured, or take them from the scaffolding or the ground.

Use damage photos twice

When you inspect damage you take photos for the quote anyway. Ask straight away whether you may show them later without the address, and after the repair you have a before and an after.

Use rainy days for pictures

On days when roofing isn't possible, there is time to go through the week's photos. With Pipeflow the posts are planned in advance anyway, and on days like that you simply upload more of your own pictures.

Stay calm after a storm

After a storm it is tempting to win jobs with dramatic damage pictures. A calm note on what homeowners should check now and how to reach you is more helpful and more credible.

FAQ.

Can Pipeflow use drone photos of roofs?

Yes, if the photos are on your website or you upload them. Pipeflow uses any image you provide and writes the text for it.

What happens after a storm if I want to post something quickly?

You can edit a post at any time, add your own photo and post it straight away. You can upload your own photos of the damage whenever you like.

Do I have to write every post myself?

No. Pipeflow writes the text and chooses an image. You read it through, change it if needed and approve.

Is anyone interested in roofs as long as it isn't raining in?

More often than you'd expect, especially people who are building, buying or renovating. And anyone who has once seen a fine roof detail from you will remember your name when it does start to drip.

Should I show solar panels if we don't install them ourselves?

Show your part of the job: the prepared roof surface, penetrations that stay watertight and the collaboration with the electrician. Name the partner business with their agreement. That makes it clear what you are responsible for.

How do I show sheet metal work?

Sheet metal shines and has clean lines, which works well in photos. Close ups of edges, seams and joints in side light show precision. A short sentence on the material, such as copper or titanium zinc, makes the post understandable for homeowners.
