Pipeflow

Colour that stands out in the feed.

Every week Pipeflow uses your website to plan posts about colours, walls and facades for Instagram and LinkedIn, and you approve them.

Masking like the prosPipeflow Painters

The secret to a crisp paint line: good tape, press it down firmly and pull it off while the paint is still slightly wet. #paintingtip

Example of a text tile

Why it usually gets left undone.

Great results, no posts

Every freshly painted wall would make a good picture. But once the site is tidied up, nobody thinks about posting.

Choosing a colour is hard

Customers face hundreds of shades and do not know where to start. If you show examples regularly, you become the first place they turn to.

Painting looks interchangeable

Anyone can paint, many people think. Posts about preparation and technique show why a specialist works differently.

Where the topics come from.

From colour consultations

A dark wall in a small room, warm or cool tones, colour on the ceiling. With photos of real rooms.

From the preparation

Masking, filling, sanding, priming. The steps that make the result and that you no longer see afterwards.

From the facade

Repairing cracks, colour for the outside wall, scaffolding on the house. Large surfaces, big impact.

An example week.

How Pipeflow could plan a week for you.

Monday: A shade in a real room

A photo of a freshly painted wall in a muted green or warm grey, with two sentences on which floors and furniture the shade goes with. At the start of the week many people are planning renovations for the coming months.

Wednesday: The old wallpaper has to go

A photo of wallpaper coming off in strips, or of the bare wall underneath. It shows what has to happen before the nice result, and many people will recognise their own living room.

Friday: Decorative plaster in detail

A close up of decorative plaster or glaze in side light. Surfaces like these set you apart from simple repainting and show what else your business can do.

Three ideas for painters and decorators.

  1. 01

Colour samples on the real wall

Several colour samples side by side on a wall, photographed in daylight. Helps customers decide.

    Example
Colour cards are small and the light in the shop is different. That is why we paint samples straight onto your wall, and you can look at them at different times of day.
  2. 02

    Cracks before painting

A crack in the wall, then filled, then painted. Shows the work that comes before painting.

    Example
Just paint over it? Then the crack will soon be back. We open it up, fill it properly and sand it smooth before any paint goes on.
  3. 03

    The facade with scaffolding

A house in scaffolding, then with a fresh facade. A big change that the neighbourhood notices.

    Example
The scaffolding is gone and the facade is shining again. Before painting, we cleaned everything, repaired cracks and primed. #facade #painting

Tips for painters and decorators.

Check the colour on your phone

Phone cameras tend to distort colours, especially under artificial light. Take photos in daylight and compare the picture with the wall before you use it, otherwise someone will ask for a shade that doesn't exist.

Mention the room

A post becomes more useful if it says whether it is a north facing room, a child's bedroom or an office. People can then imagine how the shade would look in their own home.

Give customers something back

When the job is done, ask whether you may show the result, and offer to send them the photo. Some people are more willing to say yes when they get something out of it themselves.

Raise facades in late winter

Facade work depends on temperature and weather. Show in late winter that now is the time to plan for summer, instead of posting about it in June when your diary is already full.

How Pipeflow helps.

From your website

Pipeflow reads what you offer and plans posts from it. No website? A few sentences about your business are enough.

With images

Photos from your website, your own photos, AI images or text tiles in your colours.

You approve

Nothing goes out until you approve it. You can edit, ask for a rewrite or pause at any time.

FAQ.

Do the colours in the images match my company?

Pipeflow reads the colours from your website and uses them for text tiles. For photos of your work, it uses images from your website or your own uploads.

Can Pipeflow mention manufacturers' colour names?

Pipeflow writes the text based on your website. If you do not want certain names used, you add them as words that should never appear, and Pipeflow checks for them before every post goes out.

Does Pipeflow learn which tone I like?

Yes. You rate posts with a thumbs up or down and can give reasons. Pipeflow turns that into rules about what to prefer and what to avoid.

Doesn't every white wall look the same?

The result perhaps, but not the way there. Filling, closing cracks, clean edges at the ceiling: these are exactly the details that mark out good work, and they photograph well.

Should I target private customers on Instagram if I mostly work for companies?

If you are interested in private jobs, yes. Otherwise you can focus on LinkedIn and reach property managers, architects and businesses there. Pipeflow plans for both channels, but you can also connect just one.

How often can a topic be repeated?

More often than you think. Your followers don't see every post, and a tip about masking is new to new followers. Just tell it with a different photo and from a different angle.
